tech37
class
In
the fall of 2002, twenty-two students from Senn high school (Chicago, IL) became
working apprentices for the After
School Matters program, tech37! We worked in groups and individually
on several projects. Our mission was to design a web page in service to a girls
program called Girl Talk. Girl Talk is a weekly program for girls ages 12-17,
locked up at the Cook County Juvenile Temporary Detention Center in Chicago.
In addition we worked on our own personal websites, where we put our own picture
along with our link pages. We also made identity switches where we took two or
more peoples pictures and created one face.
HTML, Photoshop, digital video, digital still camera and mini disk recorders were
among the tools used in this session.
