NUF SAID Media Showcase featuring NUF SAID youth presentations and the public launch of the NUF SAID website.
NUF SAID is a citywide endeavor that engages a team of youth from the Chicago Youth Voices Network organizations to poll their peers through social media networks on how they are impacted by the current economy through five areas: Crime, Education, Employment, Health and the Environment, and Housing. A central online hub (http://nuf-said.org) serves as the portal for accessing polls, polling data, analysis and art works. The youth have created media pieces based on the data from the survey, which will premiere at this NUF Said Media Showcase.
As a member of the 11-organization collaboration Chicago Youth Voices Network, Beyondmedia and our Chain of Change project have a leading role in organizing and implementing the NUF SAID project.
